EAC filters are the most effective at keeping your system clean and do not have air restriction problems. Dynamic filters are only 1” thick and give better results than AC filters that are 5”. The EAC has electricity constantly running through it, causing it to have layers of positive and negative charges, which attract the particles in the air (Kind of like a Swiffer mop). Another great thing about EAC filters is that the dirtier they get the better it works, until it is completely impacted and need to be replaced. The cost on these AC filters is higher initially, but the replacement media cartridges are very affordable and come in a 1 year supply at a time.
